Sejarah Singkat Band

The Sex Pistols adalah band punk rock asal Inggris. Yang terbentuk di London pada tahun 1975. Mereka adalah pelopor gerakan punk di Inggris, dan kemudian menjadi inspirasi bagi banyak musisi punk rock alternative di Inggris. Meskipun karir awal mereka selama dua setengah tahun hanya menghasilkan empat single dan satu album studio Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s Sex Pistols, namun mereka dianggap sebagai salah satu band yang paling berpengaruh dalam sejarah musik populer.

Awalnya The Sex Pistols terdiri dari vokalis Johnny Rotten, gitaris Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook dan bassis Glen Matlock. Matlock digantikan oleh Sid Vicious pada awal tahun 1977 dan terus mengalami perubahan line-ip
